Hello everyone - We've been working with ITE to develop a health and transportation clearinghouse and the call is now ready. Please see below. Please considering submitting a case study or other guidance for how to integrate health and transportation. Have a weblink or pdf of the resource ready for submission. ITE is seeking published resources documenting and addressing health concerns in transportation plans, projects, and programs. It is ITE’s goal to organize this content into a clearinghouse for use by a wide range of practitioners seeking resources on integrating health in transportation. Case studies and site-specific projects are especially helpful in illustrating how to integrate access, equity, air quality, and physical activity into transportation. TRB Health committee update

Greetings—I thought it would be a good time to provide an update on the new TRB health committee. Early in February, Bill Anderson of TRB asked some of us to prepare a proposal seeking a new committee. We had a March 1st deadline which was met. The document, which is more of a description of the Subcommittee’s highlights, is attached. There was specific format to follow as outlined in the committee leadership guide, Resource 9- http://onlinepubs.trb.org/onlinepubs/dva/chair/TRBLeadershipGuide1-35.pdf.
