Hello, all,
At the risk of adding to the email overload, as communications
co-coordinator for the subcommittee, I'd like to let you know that your
thoughts and concerns means a great deal to us, and we will explore the
various suggestions.
If folks prefer, they can email me and my fellow coordinator, Carey
McAndrews (cc'ed) directly with ideas...in order to reduce email overload.
In the meantime, I am so excited to hear these various discussions taking
place in such a collegial manner.
We definitely want people to feel comfortable taking part or simply
observing or opting out of inbox clutter.

New subject: [H+T--Friends] Email Overload from list administrator
For those who do not want every message there is a Digest option
available. It is a grouping of emails that comes out daily (once a day)
or when the digest get to 400KB. I can not set it to be less frequent, it
is a function of the software but I can change the size of the digest.
To subscribe to the digest is a little clunky (sorry for that). You first
have to know your password and then log in an set your account to get the
digest.
To get your password go to the link below and go to the bottom of the
page. You will see a line that sez "To unsubscribe from H+T--Friends, get
a password reminder, or change your subscription options enter your
subscription email address: This would be the email address that you
subscribed with. The software should send you out a password.

By the way, I have the software set to send out password reminders monthly.
Armed with your password you can go to the same page
http://ryoko.chrispy.net/mailman/listinfo/h+t--friends
at the same spot enter in your email address again and your password in
the line above. That will take you a page where you can set the settings
for your account.
