The beta version of CEJST, creation directed by EO

applies lessons learned from EPA's

Federal agencies will use CEJST to inform implementation of Justice40 once revised
guidance is issued after completion of the beta phase. The current version of the tool
uses publicly available, nationally consistent datasets to provide socioeconomic,
environmental, and climate information and identify disadvantaged communities. FAQs

The CEJST tool supports a whole-of-government approach to advancing environmental justice.
While CEJST is in beta, Federal agencies worked diligently to develop indicators
appropriate for their programs and use in the interim. Check out the Interim DOT
