The White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool (CEJST) - beta version opportunities for feedback are coming up:

• April 15th at 4 PM ET, CEQ will host its second public Listening Session to seek input and feedback on the beta version of the tool, including on the datasets it includes and the methodology it uses.
• April 25, the CEQ issued RFI soliciting feedback on the beta version tool will close.
• Provide feedback on CEJST via this survey
• Download and explore the draft CEJST data.
• CEJST is also open source. View and contribute to it on GitHub.

The beta version of CEJST, creation directed by EO 14008, applies lessons learned from EPA’s EJScreen. Federal agencies will use CEJST to inform implementation of Justice40 once revised guidance is issued after completion of the beta phase. The current version of the tool uses publicly available, nationally consistent datasets to provide socioeconomic, environmental, and climate information and identify disadvantaged communities. The CEJST tool supports a whole-of-government approach to advancing environmental justice. While CEJST is in beta, Federal agencies worked diligently to develop indicators appropriate for their programs and use in the interim.
