I would also share this information with National RTAP and with those
working to expand anything Danish-style in MaaS. I would also contact Jana
Lynott at AARP, who has been working on these issues.

Hello Heidi,
Great project!
In addition to what Steve has already provided, this is a topic that is
directly related to the TRB's AME70 Transportation and Health Committee's
scope. I'll get back to you with more details.
Thanks,
Ipek

opportunities?
I'm on the board of
IPATHinc.org. Glad to share. We are looking for
webinar topics. Our next conference will be in 2024. Very pertinent.
Most state transit associations offer training opportunities at annual
conferences and some also on-line. I belong to 3.
I'm also an Easterseals contractor for the National Aging and Disability
Transportation Center -
NADTC.org - which is well aware of this project and
may have already done a webinar.
I'll be at the IATR conference later this month in Memphis. This would be
relevant to their program next year anyway, as IATR regulators oversee
taxis, limos, paratransit and other ride providers.
Glad to make those connections.
Transportation to healthcare and other destinations really should be part
of a solid social work curriculum - especially at universities affiliated
with the USDOT UTC program -

DOT invests in the future of transportation through its University
Transportation Centers (UTC) Program, which awards and administers grants
to consortia of colleges and universities across the United States. The UTC
Program advances the state-of-the-art in transportation research and
technology, and develops the next generation of transportation
professionals.

opportunities?
Hello H+T committee,
I'm working with the Heart of Iowa Regional Transit Agency (HIRTA) on an
ITS4US-funded project, Health Connector <https://www.ridehirta.com/its4us>,
to improve transportation access to healthcare.
Outside of the CTAA conference, the Health Connector project itself
doesn't fit perfectly into many other conference and outreach
opportunities, but we'd really love to get the word out about it. An
important component of our work is making sure that the solution is
scalable and transferable to other sites. I'm wondering if anyone has
suggestions for audiences that would be a good fit for projects that aren't
fully public health-focused and also not fully non-emergency
medical/healthcare focused alongside transportation.
Thank you!
