Almost half (48 percent) of local health departments are involved in policy activities addressing obesity and chronic disease. The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) is pleased to announce the availability of the 2013 National Profile of Local Health Departments (Profile) report. With a response rate of 79 percent, NACCHO's Profile study provides a comprehensive picture of local health departments in the United States.
