I thought you’d like to see these. They’re aimed at the UK but are mostly transferable
There are three sets of slides: one aimed at Directors of Public Health, one at Directors
of Transport in local government, and one aimed at the elected members (‘Councillors’,
i.e. local politicians).
Many of the slides are the same but with the reasons / benefits / impacts ranked
differently (health/inequalities vs congestion/sustainability vs economic arguments).

Subject: Active travel briefings for Local Authorities
The national ‘Active Travel and Health' group has produced three briefings on walking
and cycling for local authorities.
The briefings are in the form of short Powerpoint presentations and bring together all the
latest evidence, policy and ideas on active travel. They are designed to help local
authorities make the case for action to increase walking and cycling.
