Arielle, I’m excited to hear you’re starting this group. I completed the survey and look
forward to learning more. I’ve been planning for a decade and working in public health and
planning for the past 5-6 years. I’d love to take on a leadership role if you could use
me.
Sincerely,

Subject: [H+T--Friends] Health and Planning Interest Group (Survey + Info)
Hello all:
I'm working Carey and some folks at the American Planning Association (APA) to start a
Healthy Communities Interest Group. The aim is to create a formal space for people working
at the intersection of health and planning. To figure out what this group should look
like, we are asking folks to please take a short
survey.<https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/HCIG> You do not have to be a member of APA
to be a part of the group or to help shape it.
Attached is more information about the group, as well as information about where they will
be meeting at the APA conference in Seattle.
Thanks!
Arielle
