The TOPS Committee is a component of the Transit Development Corporation Board of Directors, a separate corporation acting on behalf of the American Public Transportation Association in matters of research and education. The vacancies fall in two categories: * Five senior transit system executives * Two senior private sector executives Successful candidates will serve for three years and attend two meetings annually for the purpose of selecting projects to be undertaken by the Transit Cooperative Research Program and providing oversight and evaluation of the program. Expenses for program participants are paid by the program.
