Apologies for cross-posting. The goal of National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Project 08-123 is to build a census data guide for transportation applications. In this age of big data, census data are critical to provide context and ensure decisions are made on a foundation of sound representative data that includes at-risk subpopulations. The diversity of stakeholders at the TRB Annual Meeting who can provide insights on integrating census data into their analytical toolkits is an opportunity to make this NCHRP research product more robust and useful to a wide audience.
