this may be of interest... --------------------------------------------------------------------- NACCHO seeks to advance the practice of health impact assessments (HIAs) among local health departments (LHDs). Through support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC's) Designing and Building Healthy Places Initiative,NACCHO will provide three LHDs with technical assistance and funding to complete an HIA related to a transportation, land use planning, or housing project, plan, or proposal between January and June 2014.
