Shimon, I have an email from Will Buckhout with the LA Census Office that relays the
following:
…One thing I would like to mention is that the 120 day review period begins on the day
that entities receive their materials. I dearly apologize, since it had previously been
our headquarters indication that the review period for all entities would begin on
February 28th. I understand this is an inconvenience and again I apologize.

Thanks, Mara.
By “we” do they mean the Philadelphia office or the Census Bureau at large? I’ve a meeting
with our counties on Thursday and I’m hoping to give them a definitive due date for this
work. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I was told the opposite - 120 days from end of webinars. However that didn't come
directly from the Census. I contacted the Philadelphia office and asked for clarification
and they said, "the official language is that it is from the reciept of package.
While we would like to recieve everything by then nothing will be considered late until
120 days from the last webinar."

Hi everyone,
So, I had heard from different sources, that the 120 days might get reset to the date of
the GUPS webinar date. I clarified this with my Census Bureau district office this week.
They said that there was internal miscommunication and that the true deadline is 120 days
from when we received the packet from Census Bureau, and it would not be extended based on
the webinar date.
Are you getting this same response from Census Bureau as well?
Thank you.
