The Missouri Census Data Center has created a web application that allows users to view profile reports based on 2006 American Community Survey data. These reports are modeled after the profile reports available on the Census Bureau's American Facffinder system, but differ from those reports in several important ways. In addition to providing these profiles we have stored all the data used to generate them in public datasets in our archive, thus giving users access (via our uexplore/dexter web tools) to the data in formats suitable for mapping, ranking, analyzing, etc . We have also downloaded and converted the underlying detailed (aka "base") tables from the 2006 ACS and users can access these data as well. We actually created some of the variables for our profiles based on these detailed tables.
