[A1D08] Midyear Meeting wrap-up

We had an enjoyable time in Orlando at our Midyear meeting and the NATMEC conference. Attached are the notes from our meeting which were graciously put together by Gene Bandy (Thanks Gene). Also attached is the proposal that Marcus Wiggan has been shopping around relative to a Workshop in conjunction with AET. For Marcus: Regarding the workshop I talked with Paul Bingham (Freight Data Committee) whom you talked to about this. We both agreed that you would be the most appropriate person given your involvement and interest in the area to "carry the water" for the TRB committees (I don't know what if any discussion happened at the freight data committee meeting since Paul and I talked before their meeting but in our Urban Data meeting this was the sentiment). I also talked with Tom Palmerlee of TRB about TRB sponsorship and there is a formal process within the academy that you should follow-up with him on. Sponsorship does not mean money from what I understand.
