Hi -The TRB annual meetings will be held in Washington DC from January
13-17, 2019 at the Convention Center and Marriott Marquis. All activities
are on-site (there is not a remote attendance option).
ABJ30 will meet on Tuesday morning (Jan 15) from 8 am to noon. A draft
agenda is attached.

For those of you traveling to DC the weekend of January 12-13, please note
the following travel advisory:
As some of you are aware, the DC Metro system has been undergoing major
renovations. Just in the last day or two, they announced that the Yellow
and Blue lines will be completely shut down on the weekend of January 12-13,
2019 between the Reagan National Airport and Pentagon stations. This means
that there will be NO Metro service to get you from Reagan National to the
Annual Meeting on the weekend that the meeting begins. Bus service will be
available from the airport to stations that are in service, but this bus
service is notoriously crowded and unreliable. Also please note that the
last time service to the airport was shut down, there was major traffic
gridlock in and around the airport. You can monitor the situation on the
