The submission site for committee Calls for Papers for the 2013 TRB Annual Meeting is now open and will remain open until August 1, the paper submission deadline.
I am asking for your help in developing proposals ---
One that I would like to see might be along the lines of:
Synthetic Urban Data: Is it the Real Deal? ---
focusing on the use of synthetic population data, synthetic trips, etc. - with references to the PUMS report - any supporters willing to help write up such a call?

FHWA Webinar: Understanding the Value of Safety Data
Quality data are the foundation for making important decisions regarding the design, operation, and safety of roadways. FHWA is hosting a Webinar, Fundamental Data Elements: Understanding the Value of Safety Data, on April 26th from 2:00 - 3:00 PM eastern time. The Webinar is open to all transportation practitioners (particularly State and local DOTs) interested in knowing more about the value of investing in data for safety and the Fundamental Data Elements (FDE).
