Hi,
I've taken a new step to prevent spam from ever reaching my domain which
includes ctpp-news.
I've joined the Realtime Blackhole List. This list is updated constantly to
refuse mail from known domains that are spam friendly or spam neutral. When
a machine from a domain listed on the RBL tries to send mail to my machine,
it will be rejected with a message that says that the IP address you are
sending from has been listed in the RBL.
If that every happens to you, email me at chrisp(a)tikizine.com or email
somebody on the list to let them know that you are shut out who can forward
that information to me. And then complain to your ISP. The RBL is not taken
lightly and domains that end up on the list have basically refused to take
care of spam originating from their network.

I had to take this step because I currently have a 4k file that lists all
of the domains and checks in order to weed out spam. It is slowing down my
mail and becoming unwieldy to maintain.
The RBL should take care of a large majority of the truly bad spam I get
so I can pare down the file some.
Chris
