I am interested in collecting together as many recent household travel surveys from around
the U.S. as possible, to use in comparative research and also to assist in a NCHRP project
on standardization of household travel surveys. If any members of the list have a recent
(not more than ten years old) data set that they are willing to share, please let me know
how I can obtain a copy . In obtaining copies, it would be most useful if I can obtain
the following:
1. A copy of the survey instrument(s)
2. A copy of the data files, preferably in SPSS with variable names and variable labels,
or in a data base or other format
3. A copy of any final report or other documentation that describes how the data were
collected, what sampling scheme was used, and what, if any, data clean up and manipulation
has been done.
If data have been geocoded, it would be most helpful if network times and/or distances
were included on any trip files. I do not need address information from the raw data,
although TAZs, zipcodes, or other broad geographic locators would be helpful.
Thanks.
