Louis, not all tables in the 2005-2009 ACS are available by block group - including the
ones in Segments 1-8. To find details on what tables are available by block group, take
a look at the 2005-2009 ACS technical documentation at
http://www2.census.gov/acs2009_5yr/summaryfile/ACS_2005-2009_SF_Tech_Doc.pdf - the chart
starting on page 42 of the pdf will detail the geography for each table. This chart
also shows which tables are provided via American Factfinder.

Subject: [CTPP] 2005-2009 ACS data
Hello,
I am trying to download 5-year block group data from the 2005-2009 ACS for Colorado. I
have noticed many of the text sequence files are empty. It looks like the first eight
tables are all empty.
Specifically, I am trying to get block group data for sequence number 1
(e20095co0001000.txt).
I looked at other states and these files are also empty. Am I looking in the wrong
directory for block group data for these tables?
Any help would be appreciated.
