Population totals by County and lower levels of geography will be released during March in the Census 2000 Redistricting (Public Law 94- 171) Summary Files. Data from these files will be available in the American FactFinder on the Census Bureau's internet home page (www.census.gov). What you may have seen on the home page are the population counts by State.
