The latest LowMod data (aka CHAS data) can be downloaded here:
http://www.huduser.org/portal/datasets/cp/CHAS/data_download_chas.html
This is based on 2006-8 ACS data and does not include census tracts; MCDs are the smallest
areas of geography. Tracts will be included in a future but not block groups, if I
understand correctly.

Subject: [CTPP] question about HUD Low-Mod census tabulation
I know this isn't a CTPP question- but I'm looking for the HUD Low Mod Income
tabulation from post 2000 census at the census tract level. It seems like I read an email
about this recently, but can't find it, and can't remember what I read. Has Census
done their special tabulation for HUD at the census tract level from ACS? Are they going
to? If not, what are people using for low/moderate income data for HUD related programs
that require this?
