Hi friends— Some of you have been involved in Census Geog activities. Some of you have not. FYI, this week Census Geog has blasted out announcements of the verification & sign-off phase of PSAP (for Tracts, Block Groups, CDPs, etc. etc.). Many of you will see an email like the one below (scroll down). This went to a long list of governments and stakeholders. This email says: PSAP Verification phase is now begun. Wraps up in April. Contact your “primary participant responsible” if you have issues. Kind of a bewildering email = sure to generate some questions. Things to know: 1. Census Geog’s objective now is simply verification & sign-off, confirming the Tract and BG shapefiles submitted last year. This phase is not an opportunity to bring up new requests. Sorry. 2.
