thanks peter, tcrp is very much on some of our minds. two years our trb
census subcommittee submitted this proposal.

it started out in a pool of 130 proposals and finished just out of
running. we made it into the top 30 and i think finished 11th while 10
were funded. looking at the project now i think it could use some
sprucing up and we should submit it for next years cycle. i believe the
deadline will be around june.
if anyone has any sprucing up ideas feel free to send them to me
directly or give me a call. i still think the concept behind the
proposal has merit and with the ACS and its subsequent research starting
to take off the timing for next years cycle might be good.
