I just have a few questions that I am sure others might have.
1. In section III A it says that "These (TAZs) must have an estimated
population threshold of 1,200 resident population, and with the ultimate
lower limit being at 600." In section III B the document goes on to say
that the 600 minimum is only a suggestion. Does this mean that TAZs can
be smaller than 600 but not larger than 1,200. I am not sure what it
means when it says TAZs MUST have an estimated population of 1,200.
2. Regarding the TADs will 5-year CTPP tables be produced for this level
of geography?
3. Will TADs have to nest within counties and conform to county
boundaries like TAZs? What will happen to a TAD in counties that are
less than 20,000 residents.

Hi All,
The Census Bureau asked us to refine this document to help them with
their software development effort. There was a three step process and
this is step two. Step three will be the formal version of the attached
memo, due to Census Bureau in early 2010. At this time we are seeking
input on this memo for the formal version. *Please reply directly to me
with your comments*.

It's just as bad to not make a plan as to blindly follow the one you
already have.
