Thanks Todd. Just to expand on Todd's answer, the next CTPP with small
area geography (tract, TAZ, or BG) will use 5 years of ACS data, that is
survey results collected from 2006 through 2010.
The contract between AASHTO and the Census Bureau is not yet in place,
but the goal is to have the Census Bureau deliver the data to AASHTO by
December 2012 or January 2013. AASHTO will be contracting with someone
to make the data web-accessible, which might take a couple of months,
depending on how much can be developed and tested in advance.
Right now, the MPOs and State DOTs who chose to participate in TAZ
delineation for CTPP are wrapping up their work and submitting files to
the Census Bureau Geography Division. These TAZ will be used for the
2006-2010 CTPP.
For a nice schedule of CTPP and other Census data releases, please see
the CTPP Status Report from Jan 2011 (Page 8).

Mark-
Do you mean CTPP 2006-10?
I've heard Dec 2012 or Jan 2013.
FHWA has been reliably posting biannual program updates at their site...

Subject: [CTPP] CTPP 2010 Release Question
Hi All,
My MPO asked me when the CTPP 2010 data would be released to benefit
future TDM updates. Sometime in 2012? Any specific date/month?
I couldn't find any information on the various websites but I may have
missed something. Thanks!
