I'm with John and Carlos on this. Personally, I've gotten a lot of good
information from the emails. If the conversations go "private," we lose a
purpose of the listserve, and lose a sense of community. I think the fact that there are
disagreements and issues is important information in itself...maybe another strategy would
be to take a deep breath, count to ten, and keep on talking. I'm still listening...
