[CTPP] An error in the recent TRB E-letter

All, Elaine Murakami brought to my attention that the most current TRB E-letter (which I don't receive) made a reference to the CTPP, which gave readers an impression that CTPP is BTS' product. The exact wording in the news letter is "The Bureau of Transportation Statistics' Census Transportation Planning Package is available now." This, of course, is wrong. Tom Bolle, who is BTS' TRB representative, helped me to contact the editor of the E-news letter. We found out that what happened was an honest mistake made by him. When he browsing through BTS web site, he saw the CTPP 1990 CD download (in zipped form) site. He assumed that CTPP was BTS' produce and included it in the news letter without checking with us. He has promised to correct it right away. I sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding that this error might have caused. Wish all of you a happy 4th July Holiday.
