Oops, sorry, I misread what you are looking for, I believe the NHTS collects miles traveled, but the ACS does not. I remember reading somewhere the average American drives something like 26 minutes(or thereabouts) one way to work each day but in this case I am specifically looking for a number of miles traveled one way.
