RE: [CTPP] lowmod data

To add a bit more information, data about the low to moderate income population, which is calculated for HUD from a special Census tabulation, is available from the 2006-8 ACS at the subcounty level from the 2006-8 ACS. As Guy notes below, it will not be available at the Census Tract level until next Spring. Based on my reading of the linked Powerpoint, lowmod data will not be available any longer at the blockgroup level. However, grant recipients can choose to "to conduct their own surveys at the block level". Current low mod data can downloaded from here: http://www.huduser.org/portal/datasets/cp/CHAS/data_download_chas.html For documentation and other lowmod data sets, search HUDUser.org for "CHAS data".
