This is just a heads up on the TRB summer meetings in Chicago this year. Our committee will be meeting Monday morning July 9th between 10:00 am and 11:45 am. While we will be spending time talking about our plans for the annual meeting we will also spend some time talking about the strategic direction of the committee. Although I have not vetted this yet my intent is to build upon the Millennium paper that we did 7 years ago and use that process to help set a strategic direction for the new (unnamed) chair. Although it was never really articulated I did use that document as blueprint to follow when I assumed leadership of the committee.
