Regarding committee meeting, we (ABJ30) will meet Monday, January 10, 2005, 1:30pm- 5:30pm, in the Hilton Caucus Room. The agenda will come out shortly. The Census Data for Transportation Planning Subcommittee (ABJ30(1)) will meet Monday, January 10, 2005, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM in the Hilton. (NOTE--THIS IS A CHANGE FROM PREVIOUS YEARS) Our Subcommittee on Metadata (ABJ30(2)) will meet at its usual time Monday, January 10, 2005, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM, Hilton. As Marcus Wigan mentioned in an earlier email, the subcommittee may move under the Freight Data (ABJ90) as Marcus rotates off ABJ30 but becomes Emeritus on ABJ90. I also agree that metadata is larger than any one committee and continues to grow as a crosscutting issue. One session that I want to give a special mention is Session 271, the “First Annual” Travel Data Users Forum., Monday, January 10, 2005, 10:15 AM - 12:00 PM, in the Hilton. Although the program shows it as sponsored solely by the National Transportation Data Requirements and Programs Committee (ABJ10) when you look at the content you will see our footprints all over it.
