[ABJ30] Two Items of interest to Data Committees

I got this from Tom Palmerlee... Several items of importance surfaced last week. Alan Pisarski and Tim Lomax both testified before the Highways and Transit Subcommittee of House Transportation and Infrastructure. In response to a request from members of Congress, Alan submitted the attached piece on Department data needs. Also attached is Tim's testimony. At a session on Transportation Information Assets and Impacts, Neil Pedersen, Maryland State Highway Director, gave an excellent presentation on executive information needs. That is also attached. This fits in with the decision at the data section research subcommittee to focus more on executive information needs. I encourage you to share these with your committees.
