Hello,
I am pleased to announce the release of a report from APA’s Planning and Community Health Research Center evaluating how comprehensive and sustainability plans from around the
country have addressed public health. The report analyzes 22 actual plans for their adequacy in addressing active living, emergency preparedness, environmental exposures, food and nutrition, health and human services, and social cohesion and mental health.
The report was funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is available for free on APA’s website.
Transportation policies were a significant component of the evaluation.
