Hi everyone,

I wanted to forward the following information for a webinar next Tuesday, June 4th, as I thought it may be of interest to some on this list given its focus on the intersection of transportation safety, public health and the medical field.

On Tuesday, June 4, (9:30am PST / 12:30pm EST) the national Vision Zero Network is hosting a webinar, "Is there a doctor on board? Partnering with a trauma center to advance Vision Zero data systems." The webinar will highlight the role of public health in Vision Zero with practitioners in the health field who are using medical, hospital, trauma, ER, and police data for more accurate, coordinated and timely monitoring of transportation-related injuries and deaths. In turn, these data support traffic safety and Vision Zero improvements. The webinar will also discuss benefits of partnering with trauma centers and trauma surgeons to advance injury prevention goals.
