Mary Fox (Health Policy and Management Department) and Kirsten Koehler (Environmental Health and Engineering Department) in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, have an opening for a post-doctoral researcher in the field of occupational and environmental exposure and risk assessment. The successful candidate will have a leadership role in a multi-disciplinary research project focused on personal exposure assessment in transportation microenvironments. Research will occur under the supervision of Dr. Mary Fox (http://www.jhsph.edu/faculty/directory/profile/1610/mary-a-fox) and Dr. Kirsten Koehler
(http://www.jhsph.edu/departments/environmental-health-sciences/faculty-research/koehler/index.html).

 

The candidate will have a doctoral degree in a quantitative environmental health science and will have research experience in air pollution exposure assessment and statistical programming.  Candidates familiar with the social determinants of health and cumulative risk assessment and analysis concepts preferred.  The selected candidate will have demonstrated communication skills (written and oral), organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.

 
The position is full-time with a multi-year duration, contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued funding. Salary as determined by the NIH National Research Service Award.
