Thanks very much. Are the meetings of the Environmental Justice Committee and the new Equity Committee on this chart?

Also, those interested in equity may be interested in  Deborah Levine's and my new book on community response to neo-Nazis and extreme rightwing groups. When Hate Groups March Down Main Street is a comprehensive, authoritative resource guide for communities, organizations, and individuals who are concerned and intimidated by the resurgence of neo-Nazi and extreme right-wing groups in the United States and around the world. Communities and institutions have often been caught flat-footed when confronting neo-Nazi and far right-wing extremists. The book examines how hate groups act and what motivates them and discusses, using case studies and community resources, how to equip communities to successfully respond to these incursions. The publisher is Rowman and Littlefield, and the book is out now.

The issues are of interest to people in the transportation and planning fields because many of us work with local governance bodies and demographic groups that are often the target of the extreme rightwing groups discussed. As noted in some of my previous work, transportation is very much a part of the history of equity in the US.

The book has an extensive glossary including neo-Nazi code language and identifiers, a resource list, and bibliography. The book can be ordered from the usual book sources and from the publisher: https://rowman.com/ISBN/9781538132647/When-Hate-Groups-March-Down-Main-Street-Engaging-a-Community-Response

Deborah and I are actively seeking speaking, training, and presenting opportunities. Please feel free to contact me if I can provide any additional information or answer any questions.

Thanks in advance for considering these thoughts.
