FHWA launched INVEST 1.0 last Wednesday.  INVEST 1.0 (Infrastructure Voluntary Evaluation Sustainability Tool) is FHWA's web-based self-assessment tool created to help you:

- Consider sustainability through every phase of the transportation infrastructure lifecycle, including system planning, project management, and maintenance and operations

- Make more informed decisions with limited resources to balance economic, social and environmental factors

- Assess your unique transportation plans, projects and programs
