I talked to Rick Pain. He advises we really need to think carefully about running the conference through TRB. Apparently the NRC has over time made the process increasingly difficult and created barriers for TRB staff. Let me know when you're available and I'll set up a meeting for us.

TRB has created a useful interactive map for use during the Annual Meeting that displays locations of airports, hotels, restaurants, metro stops, wi-fi spots, parking, and even tourist attractions and bike share locations. This should be particularly helpful for those coming to the Annual Meeting for the first time or those not overly familiar with the neighborhoods around the hotels where the Annual Meeting is held.
