Thanks again to you both for all your help with YPHT.

After the session and much thinking, I think it's best for the group to be part of the H&T Subcommittee. So henceforth it shall be known as, H&T-YMC, the Health and Transportation Subcommittee-- Young Members Committee!  

I'm going to put together a steering committee to help form and shape the group. As I mentioned at the subcommittee meeting, I see it having two prongs, one focused on research and involving Young Professionals in TRB-specific activities and the other focused on professionals development and networking, both at TRB and throughout the year.

I want to create a list-serve to stay in touch with the people who came to the gathering, and, in the future, to communicate with folks who want to be a part of the group. To that end, is it possible to get a domain like the subcommittee has -- so HT-YMC@chrispy.net, or is that only possible through official TRB channels? If it's too difficult, I can always form a google group, but I thought I'd ask.

p.s. Carey-- I meant to tell you, I still regularly turn to, and even quote, your dissertation. It has made a tremendous impact on my work on Vision Zero :)
