FWHA’s STEP Program to Host Webinar on Transportation and Health: September 25, 2012
The Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Surface Transportation Environment and Planning Cooperative Research Program (STEP) will sponsor a webinar on
Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time to discuss planning research initiatives that are planned or underway that are related to transportation and health.
Speakers include representatives from FHWA, the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, Puget Sound Regional Council,
the San Diego Association of Governments, and Sacramento Area Council of Governments. They will address research underway and highlight case studies and best practices for taking a holistic approach to health in the transportation planning process.
