thank you Ed. I also serve on another TRB committee, so yes, am familiar with TRB. The National Center for Mobility Management is putting the finishing touches on a Health and Transportation Resource Center that should be helpful to the field. It will address several mini-topics in these 3 areas: Transportation and Public Health, Transportation and Health Care Access, and Transportation and Access to SDOH Destinations. I'd appreciate help from the committee in disseminating the info on this Center once it is completed. I will, in the meantime, sign up as a friend of the committee.

Thank you,

Amy

Hi Amy-I am not sure how familiar you are with the Transportation Research Board (TRB) so I will keep this simple. Recently TRB set up a new committee on Health and Transportation. Alex used to come to our subcommittee meetings. To get involved with the committee you can join as a Friend through the TRB MyTRB system ( https://www.mytrb.org/OnlineDirectory/Committee/Details/5200) and/or join our listserve to stay connected (https://mailman.chrispy.net/postorius/lists/trbhealth.mailman.chrispy.net/).

The committee itself was "officially" set up in March so we are still getting things organized. We held our Mid-year meeting a few weeks ago and the minutes will be out latter this week. We will announce them on the listserve as well as our new web location. I will remove Alex from the list serve but you should follow the link above and sign up yourself. We would hate to loose contact with CTAA.

Let me know if you have an more questions. We look forward to continuing to the connection.

Ed Christopher, AME70 Co-chair with Leslie Meehan.

Thanks

Good morning,

Alex King, who was on your committee, received this email. As she has left CTAA to go to graduate school, all her emails are forwarded to me, her former supervisor. I would be more than happy to take her place on this committee, as we both have done a lot of work on Health and Transportation. Please let me know if it is possible to do this, or if I would need to formally apply.

Thank you,

Amy

Hi, everyone in the AME70 Health and Transportation listserv,

The Committee on Community Resources and Impacts (AME80) seeks paper reviewers and the topics overlap with health. More information below.

Dear former ADD20 members & friends,

Since the AME80 Standing Committee on Community Resources and Impacts is new and therefore still in the process of establishing its membership base, we are reaching out to y’all to serve as volunteer paper reviewers!

We have been assigned 43 papers, each requiring at least two reviewers and covering the following broad topics:

·      Travel behavior and transportation disadvantaged groups
·      Mobility and COVID-19
·      Access to services and COVID-19
·      Health impacts of transportation
·      Socioeconomic impacts, communities, and well being

If you are available to help with this effort, please respond to the Google Form link by Noon on August 17th: https://forms.gle/ZxQMBxZqhZ7NbbpWA

Also update your profile and peruse reviewer requirements here: https://www.editorialmanager.com/trbam/default.aspx

Thank you all in advance for your participation in the paper review process as we work towards the 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting. Do let us know if you have any questions!

Alec Biehl (ORNL) & Eleni Bardaka (NCSU)
