With Spring in the air the Transportation Research Board committees
and subcommittees are making their plans for the annual meeting. For
many of them one the activities is to issue Calls for Research
papers focused on topics that the committee is interested in. With
Public Health being one of the three critical issue areas for the
2017 Annual Meeting the Health and Transportation Subcommittee
worked with several other committees on a suite of health related
calls for research papers. They include;
- Impact of Freight on Public Health
- Transportation and Environmental Health Governance
- Critical Issues Associated with Arterials (Major Roads) and
Public Health
- Data, Methods, and Models to Integrate Transportation and
Public Health
All four of the Calls can be found on the Subcommittee's website at
http://www.trbhealth.org/ or on the TRB website by signing in
through your MyTRB account
(https://annualmeeting.mytrb.org/CallForPapers/index)
All papers for publication and/or presentation must be submitted by
August 1, 2016. Only complete papers, conforming to TRB standards
and format will be considered. Papers may also be submitted for
presentation only. Each paper will be peer-reviewed according to TRB
procedures. TRB paper specifications and information on how to
submit can be found online at
