Implementing Equity in Health in All Policies and Health Impact Assessments: From Concept to Action Wednesday, June 19   9:30 - 11:00 a.m. PT/ 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. ET Growing evidence demonstrates that social and economic factors significantly influence health outcomes. Because of this, there is growing interest in considering health in decision-making processes that have social and economic implications, and tools such as Health Impact Assessments (HIA) and compelling approaches such as Health in All Policies (HiAP) are being explored and implemented by many.  Join us for a webinar, sponsored by PolicyLink and the National Association of City and County Health Officers (NACCHO), focused on why equity is critical to HiAP and HIA, and specific strategies to implement and ensure equity. The speakers will discuss principles and frameworks for the inclusion of equity, as well as present examples of the principles in practice.
