Hi All,

Thank you for your ongoing interest in the US Census’ Participant Statistical Areas Program (PSAP).  Here is a link to our webinar held on October 24th:

CTPP PSAP Update on Small Geography Delineation Criteria and PSAP Participation

Description

This webinar is to discuss the 2020 Census Participant Statistical Areas Program (PSAP) block group and tract delineation criteria. CTPP data releases after the 2020 Decennial Census will no longer report by TAZ, but by block groups instead. We will give an update on the process we initiated to adapt to this change, including a discussion on how the new PSAP criteria will better enable us to align block group and TAZ boundaries to sustain the value of CTPP data for modeling and transportation planning and analysis.
Learn about PSAP, how you can get involved, and who's participating in your region. This webinar will allow significant time for Q&A, so come prepared with your questions--we expect many will be curious about the same things.
Program:
1. Welcome and Overview - Ben Gruswitz of CTPP Program Oversight Board and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC)
2. PSAP Overview, Criteria, and Contact List - Josh Coutts of the US Census Bureau's Geography Division
3. Why participation is important – Arash Mirzaei & Kathleen Yu of North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)
4. Q&A
