Is the difference between the two sets of maps, for the first ones, none of the urban areas have had population range. Defined by census, which are done for us in the second set?

I should clarify my previous response.
The list of urban areas and their 2010 populations will be released in March, along with urban area TIGER/Line shapefiles, which will provide GIS users with the ability to map boundaries of urban areas.
Urbanized area/urban cluster reference maps will be released in October 2012.

According to the Census2010 release schedule at http://www.census.gov/population/www/cen2010/glance/index.html, the Urban/Rural Update to Summary File 1 will be released in October 2012. The Geography Update also gives this date for the UA/Urban Cluster Reference Maps.

Does anyone know when the 2010 Urban Area boundaries will be released?
