A new report (labeled as August) is now posted on the FHWA webpage in both HTML and pdf formats.

This issue includes a brief article (by me) about Summary File 1 and different ways to access the data.  Thank you to all the CTPP listserv members who have helped others learn about alternative sites to access the 2010 Census results.  

We will have a  training session on American FactFinder 2 to be conducted by Census Bureau staff in early October.  I hope to have more information by tomorrow!

We were told today that “there is no going back” to the legacy AFF for the new round of ACS data, with weights incorporating 2010 Census results .  Also, the 2010 decennial census Summary File 1 is on AFF2.
