Several weeks ago someone asked about a resource for Journey to Work Trends from the 1970s and 1980s. I just received a book from FHWA called "Journey to Work Trends in the US and its Major Metropolitan Areas 1960-2000" this is FHWA publication # FHWA-EP-03-058. Hope this will help those of you who wanted this information if it is not too late.
