The U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey Research & Evaluation program is an ongoing collaboration
examining all aspects of the ACS.
Its purpose is to conduct research and evaluation projects that are important for the improvement of the ACS estimates.
We are pleased to announce that the papers resulting from this important program are now available on the ACS website,
under ACS Research & Evaluation Program within our library.
The papers cover a wide variety of survey methodology and analytical research. Selected recent titles include the following:
Assessment of Data Quality Filtering of Multiyear Estimates in American Community Survey Data Products
Comparison of ACS Detailed Tables with Tables in Census 2000 Summary File 3
Analysis of the 2009 Field of Degree Question in the American Community Survey
Evaluation of the ACS Mail Materials and Mailing Strategy During the 2010 Census
Using Subcounty Population Estimates as Controls in Weighting for the American Community Survey
As new research is completed, we will be adding to the available collection.
If you need information or have questions about the survey, please call our Customer Services Center on 1 (800) 923-8282.
