Hi Everyone – I cannot attend this webinar since it is during TRB.  The webinar is free to APDU members, and some other groups, but otherwise is $50.

It is always good to hear about different data repositories.

During the last Federal government shutdown, many researchers were unable to access data from trusted sources like the US Census Bureau and the US Bureau of Economic Analysis. This webinar will introduce participants to two data aggregation sites—StatsAmerica and Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED)—that allow users to access data from multiple sources in a quick and efficient manner. These sites are valuable tools regardless of whether the Federal government is open or closed.

Presenters:

Yvetta Fortova, Senior Research Associate, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis

Carol Rogers, Deputy Director, Indiana Business Research Center
