Hi Darlanne – and everyone else out there in CTPP-land.

The current version of the CTPP uses 2006-2010 American Community Survey records.

Our CTPP Technical Support is provided by Cambridge Systematics, funded by FHWA and by the AASHTO CTPP program.

As Liang Long (formerly Cambridge Systematics) recently took another job,  until we get a new CTPP Tech Support person, you can contact:

Penelope Weinberger at AASHTO  pweinberger@aashto.org

Tara Rima  at Cambridge Systematics  trima@camsys.com

But, for your specific question about Mexico, please contact Brian McKenzie at the Census Bureau  brian.mckenzie@census.gov

(I should know the answer, but don’t!)

Subject: [CTPP] CTPP guidance needed

Hello… We are using CTPP to update a report regarding commuter characteristics in San Diego County. Since all the information was compiled using CTPP 2000 (Part 3: Summary Level 050), we are thinking that it should be available in the new and improved CTPP. Everyone who worked on the previous report is no longer working here, so we are hoping that some of you can point us in the right direction regarding the following that has us stymied. Any guidance you can provide is appreciated. Thanks… Darlanne

·       Work location in Mexico for San Diego County residents

·       San Diego County Origin with Mexico Destination for total San Diego workers

·       Average travel time by means of transportation (drive alone, carpool, transit, telework, other)
